南非: 成熟的旅游之地

南非是非洲地区最发达的经济体,旅游和服业行业在国内生产总值中占据主要份额。开普敦、德班、约翰内斯堡等现代化都市定会为中国游客留下铭记于心的美好回忆。事实上,开普敦一直被评为全球最受欢迎的旅游目的地之一。

开普敦与伊丽莎白港之间的花园大道是许多度假行程中的一大亮点,这条风景优美的线路融合了原始森林、湖泊、山居避世之地、历史悠久的城镇、僻静的港湾和峡谷。

南非还被誉为“世界探险之都”,“宽吻海豚之都”和“马海毛之都”,著名的克鲁格国家公园能为游客呈现精彩无比的野生动物猎游之旅。

中国是南非五大客源市场之一

南非旅游局是南非政府的旅游推广部门,致力于在国内外推广南非的休闲、商务及会奖旅游资源。

2014年,中国与美国、英国、德国、印度一道成为南非的五大核心客源市场。前往南非旅游的中国游客数量呈现大幅增长,2016年1月至12月,来自中国(包括香港)的游客数量总计为117,114人,与上年同期相比增长了38%。

2015年10月29日,中国国航开通了北京至约翰内斯堡的直飞航班,该架过夜航班与南非航空公司共享代码,每周执飞三次,航程15个小时,由中国国航全新的波音777-350执飞。

为了确保中国游客能够享受更加顺畅的旅行体验,南非旅游局在中国的九座城市设立签证中心,包括北京、上海、广州、成都、西安、沈阳、武汉、济南以及杭州。

人民币兑南非兰特的汇率优势使南非极具吸引力和消费竞争力,是中国游客享受高端旅游和购物体验的超值目的地。到2017年,中国游客在南非的旅游消费额有望达到1亿美元/年。

           

南非旅游行业发展成熟

南非是非洲最具政治成熟度的国家之一,并且具备稳定的商业环境。

南非能为投资者提供最大化的投资机遇、投资规模、发展前景和日益增长的国内需求。

South Africa is the most advanced economy in Africa, with the tourism & services sector accounting for the majority of GDP and modern cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg never failing to impress Chinese tourists. In fact, Cape Town is consistently ranked among the world’s most popular tourist destinations.

A highlight of many vacation itineraries is the picturesque Garden Route between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, through ancient forests, lakes, mountain hideaways, historic towns and secluded bays and coves.

South Africa is also the adventure capital of the world, the Bottlenose Dolphin capital of the World and the Mohair Capital of the World, with the finest safari game viewing in the famous Kruger National Park.

With a diverse history and a melting pot of cultures South Africa inherits a rich culinary heritage, from traditional Cape Malay cuisine to down-to-earth braai’s (barbecues) and world-class South African wineries. There are many aspects in tourism investment, with the steady growth of tourism across South Africa, there are more hotels 3,4 and 5 star needed in some of our provinces, there are also opportunities to further enhance high speed rail throughout the country, and there are requests for investment into the building of 2 5 star South African cruise liners. There is also a need for shopping outlets on some of the tourist routes in South Africa, offering locals the opportunity to sell their hand crafts and food at these busy tourist spots, thus creating more jobs and opening the tourism opportunities to all who live in our country.

The future between South Africa and China is very strong we are both members of the BRICS member countries. The current investment from Chinese companies are large and growing, although most of the current investment is in industry and automotive, there is now great opportunity for tourism related investments in South Africa.

South African Tourism is the tourism marketing arm of the South African government, promoting the country’s leisure, business, meetings, incentives, conferences and events tourism at home and abroad.



In 2014, China became one of South Africa’s core tourism markets, alongside the USA, UK, Germany and India . Growth in Chinese tourists visiting South Africa has been even more remarkable, from January to December 2016; there were a total of 117,114visitors from China – including Hong Kong – representing a 38 percent year on year increase.

Air China launched a non-stop flight 3 x a week between Beijing and Johannesburg via a code share with South African Airways on the 29th of October 2015.  The direct overnight flight from Beijing to Johannesburg takes 15 hours, aboard Air China’s New Boing 777 – 350.
Encouraging a seamless travel experience for Chinese citizens, South African Tourism has established visa facilitation centres in nine Chinese cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xian, Shenyang, Wuhan, Jinan and Hangzhou.    

South Africa is affordable and the favorable Rand exchange rate makes South Africa very attractive and a competitively priced destination of choice for luxury experiences and world class shopping.South Africa has set a target for Chinese visitor spending to reach $100 million per year by 2017.

South Africa is the most politically established countries in Africa with a stable business environment.

South Africa offers investors the biggest opportunity, size, growth prospect and growing domestic demand.

South Africa has sophisticated financial, legal and telecommunications sectors.

There is a wealth of world-class expertise that will guide an investor through the process of registering a business in South Africa. Legal, management, banking and accounting firms are supported by chambers of commerce, embassies and government offices.

South Africa has a sophisticated and well-regulated banking sector. Many banks are subsidiaries of international conglomerates while local banks often have an international presence. These are all able to offer the foreign investor expert advice on all aspects of doing business in South Africa.

South Africa's tourism industry is well established, with an exciting sector of emerging entrepreneurs. The country is strong on adventure, sport, nature and wildlife, and is a pioneer and global leader in responsible tourism.

New private sector investment is already being planned or in development in the South Africa, including new hotels, restaurants and visitor attractions.

This is also supported by an increase in direct air route connections and cruise ship visits into South Africa, with further developments underway.

Significant growth is forecast for South Africa’s food and beverage industry as the global demand for food continues to grow, and South Africa’s place in the global market place continues to be respected and grow. Processed food exports continue to show steady growth, while dairy and beverages continue to be fast growing segments. Emerging food and beverage trends and South Africa’s strong processing and research and development capability positions the country well for investors to capitalize on the exciting prospects for this sector.

As South Africa’s Tourism grows more of the below are required :

(1)Hotels 3 star, 4 star and 5 star.

(2)Opportunities in Ocean Safari’s like boat building in standard boats to 5 star boats, Cruise liners.

(3)Tourist attraction spots that are busy there is a need for facilities at these tourism spots like Toilets, Restaurants, curio shops convenience stores etcetera.
